Self Portrait
2026
Oil paint
15 × 30 in.
This self-portrait shows the different parts of myself that are constantly competing with each other. I used color and placement to separate emotions like competitiveness, empathy, creativity, and insecurity, while the black-and-white figure in the center is the most raw and unfiltered version of me. Their positions are intentional too—bliss is front and center, competitiveness is always lurking, and imagination is partially overshadowed by insecurity.
