Word Blindness is a self-portrait about the way I experience dyslexia and the strengths that can come with thinking differently. I split my brain into two sides and filled one with the things I see as some of my biggest strengths—creativity, imagination, empathy, grit, and seeing the bigger picture. I wanted this piece to show the beautiful side of dyslexia instead of focusing on what makes it difficult.
